…………I.T.  is still the most-used channel to deliver training for managers as it is less likely to pull the manager and front line staff away from the shop floor.

The second most popular form of staff training, is informal internal knowledge sharing at 47%.  With only 22% having sought specific advice from their own line manager.

As Nigel Banister of GMD People said “this suggests they may be cautious of exposing their own knowledge gaps to senior managers”.
